When I found yoga, I instantly fell in love with it. It healed my mind, body and soul. I founded Moving Meditation to share my love of yoga with you. I’ve created a series of videos that you can do at home, whether you are a beginner discovering yoga for the first time or you are an advanced yogi looking to deepen your practice. I’ve also made a series of meditation videos to offer the chance to re-connect with yourself and manifest your hopes and dreams. Check it out at www.movingmeditation.la

Its a joy for me to lead weeklong destination yoga retreats all over the world in incredible settings such as Europe, Asia, Mexico, Hawaii, Bali, and the list continues to grow. Whether you want to get deeper into your practice, find an escape from the stresses of your life or just take a healthy vacation, these retreats are designed to cater to the individual, providing options for a variety of daily yoga classes, guided meditation, massage, and meals prepared with healthy, fresh, locally-sourced foods and (most importantly) free time. We specialize the retreat so each student can have his/her own adventure and choose their level of participation. For information on upcoming retreats, click here.

Yancy Scot Schwartz
Yancy Scot Schwartz took his first class in the Dominican Republic while on a skate tour. He initially loved yoga solely because it improved his skating. In 2008, at the encouragement of the owner, Yancy attended the Yoga to the People 200 hour Teacher Certification. He was then sent out to open and build Yoga to the People in San Francisco in 2009. In 2011 he moved back to New York where he met Sri Dharma Mittra. He completed the 500 hour Life of a Yogi Teacher training in 2013. Later in the year he attended the 50 hour Rocket Certification at Asta Yoga in San Francisco.
Yancy's personal practice includes meditation and pranayama 5 days a week. He also regularly attends classes at the studios he teaches at, or from renown teachers in the L.A. area.
Yancy hopes that through the yoga practices and techniques you will not be bound by the body or the mind.
